Sharon Vaughn

Mary Sharon Vaughn (born 2 May 1947[1]) is a Stockholm based American musician, songwriter and producer. She started out in Nashville and many of her songs have been on The Billboard Country Singles Charts. Sharon's first cut, the classic country song ‘My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys’ by Willie Nelson, reached No 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Chart.[2] She has been nominated for The Nashville Songwriters Foundation's Hall Of Fame. Vaughn was formerly married to songwriter Bill Rice, and later to Howard Bellamy of The Bellamy Brothers.[3]
