Sharecropper's Seed Volume 1 is the sixth studio album from Christian artist Nicole C. Mullen. The album was released on April 3, 2007. The album's first single, "Convinced," received disappointing airplay, charting lower than any of Mullen's singles to date, peaking at #27. The second single was confirmed in August 2007, and is One Touch (Press). A music video is also in the works for it, and will be on the DVD WOW Hits 2008.

The song "Secret Place" was cut from the album at the last minute, being replaced by "Under The Shadow". It is uncertain as to whether or not it will be available in the future, possibly as a bonus track.
Nicole stated in a recent interview that they have hired a director and are currently working on the plot for her first music video since 2002's Call on Jesus. The music video is for the song, One Touch and will be promoted on the music video DVD of the annual release, WOW Hits 2008.
A podcast on iTunes called MyCCM has an interview with Nicole on the album. She also discusses and has confirmed that there will be a Sharecropper's Seed, Vol. 2. Mullen said that volume 2 will be more upbeat and fast-paced, a departure from volume 1. Think "This, This" from Everyday People.
