Shantipriya is an Indian actress. She had done Telugu, Tamil and Bollywood films in the 1990s. She is the sister of the popular actress Bhanupriya.

Career

Nishanthi, known as Shantipriya, acted in several films, including the biggest hit, Enga ooru paatukran (1988)at a very young age of 19. She was also seen on TV's sci-fi epic Aaryjamaan – Brahmaand Ka Yoddha opposite Mukesh Khanna in 2002.she acted as heroine in a few TV serials and films.

Hit films

Shantipriya made her debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Saugandh. She has acted with Mithun Chakraborty in many hit movies like Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana, Phool Aur Angaar and Meherbaan. Now she is making a comeback in Hamilton Palace along with Mahakshay Chakraborty, son of Mithunda.

Shantipriya married actor Siddharth Ray, who has acted in films like Baazigar and Vansh. Unfortunately, Siddharth died of a massive heart attack, leaving behind his two kids. Siddharth Ray is the grandson of V. Shantaram.
