This led to performances on the Vans Warped Tour (2006,2008) and a number of solo US and European tours. She Co-Starred as Hallie on Wheels in an episode of CSI:NY “Jamalot” and co-authored a children's book titled I Went for a Walk which led to the most recent children’s music project Play Date. Play Date released debut album Imagination on Fun Fun Records in 2012 receiving positive acclaim from NPR's All things Considered Link to Article

Items related to her are on display as part of the Warped: 12 Years of Music, Mayhem and More exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. She had appeared in and episode of CSI: NY playing a roller derby girl and suspected killer.

In 2007, Wintergate co-authored a children's book titled I Went for a Walk... with Attonito.[1]

Music

Shanti started writing music and playing guitar as a teenager by performing at local folk festivals, coffee shops, and later moving to Los Angeles to open for acts like Brian Auger's Oblivion Express at the famous Baked Potato in Hollywood, CA as well as play in the singer/songwriter circuit. It was during this time she was becoming influenced by and involved in the punk and pop rock world of music. This is when she wrote, recorded, and co-produced her first album "This Moment", which led to placements in TV and Film and sold over 5,000 copies on her own. "This Moment" was a spark of an album with catchy 3-4 chord pop/rock tunes that caught the attention of famed Warped Tour promoter Kevin Lyman and let to performances on 2006/2008 Vans Warped Tours. After a couple of years of hiatus and traveling on tour with her husband, Shanti partnered with Canadian producer Chris Wardman (Blue Peter) and engineer Brad Haehnel to create what would become "Stranger Days" and "Stranger Days Stripped." Since then, Shanti has released a number of singles, appeared as songwriter/producer on Greg Attonito's solo debut "Natural Disaster" and become an active member of the "Magic Monday" sessions with Noise Alchemy. She continues to collaborate with other artists and is a founding member of the children's music project Play Date with partner and husband, Greg Attonito.
