Shanti Nilayam (Tamil: சாந்தி நிலையம்), is a 1969 Indian Tamil movie directed by G. S. Mani, starring Gemini Ganesan, Kanchana in the lead role and Nagesh in the supporting role. Shanti Nilayam is a melodrama, musical film based on Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre. The film won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Marcus Bartley.
