Shannan McPherson (born on 12 December 1985 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Salford City Reds of Super League. He previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. His usual position is in the second-row.
Shannan became a first time father of baby boy, Kayden William McPherson on Boxing Day 2008.
On 29 June 2011, it was announced that McPherson had signed a two-year deal with Welsh outfit Crusaders RL from the 2012 season.[1] Due to the Crusaders withdrawal from Super League, McPherson's deal fell through. McPherson joined Salford City Reds on a three-year deal.[2]
