Shankill railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Sheanchill) serves Shankill, in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland.
History
The original station opened on 10 July 1854 as part of the Harcourt Street Line linking Dublin with Bray. It was upgraded in 1983 to cater for the new electrified DART trains. The station provides a car park for commuters.[1]
Routes
It is served by DART suburban rail service, and at peak times by Dublin Connolly diesel commuter trains. It is not served by Inter City services.[2]
