Shamim Hilaly (born in Bombay) is a veteran actress from Pakistan. She is noted for her performance in “Maigh Malhaar”[1] during the 1990s. She has also acted in Pakistan's only English language movie, Beyond the Last Mountain (1976).

Background

Hilaly's family moved from Bombay (now Mumbai) during the Partition of India and settled in Lahore. She is married to the former Pakistani ambassador, Zafar Hilaly.

Career

Hilaly's career started from the drama, Alif Noon.[2]
