"Shakalaka Baby" is a 2002 single by Preeya Kalidas.[1] The song was composed by A. R. Rahman[1] and was initially featured in his 2002 musical Bombay Dreams. It is a reworked version of the track "Shakalaka Baby" from 1999 Tamil film Mudhalvan, a version of which was also featured in the 2001 Bollywood film Nayak. A Mandarin Chinese pop version of the track sung by Singaporean singer Kelly Poon was featured in her 2007 album In the Heart of the World.
