Shahriyar Rahimov (Azerbaijani: Şəhriyar Rəhimov; born 6 April 1989) is an Azerbaijani football defender who plays for Ravan Baku[1] in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

Playing career

Rahimov participated in two 2008–09 UEFA Champions League qualifying matches for Inter Baku against FC Partizan Belgrade.[2]

Rahimov has also made appearances for the Azerbaijan U21 side, including a 7-0 loss to the England U21 side on 8 June 2008[3] and a 2-3 loss to the Belarus U21 side on 9 September 2009.[4] Rahimov spent more than 40 appearances for the national team of Azerbaijan of all ages (U17, U19 and U21) and scored a goal for the U21 in a friendly match against Moldovian U21.

On 6 January 2012, Rahimov joined AZAL PFC on a half-season-long loan.[5]
