Nathaniel Findley, better known by his stage name Shady Nate, is an American rapper from Oakland.[2] He is CEO and Founder of Shady Nation. He is also member of the groups Da Heavy Hitterz (Jay Jonah), The Go Boyz aka Pot of Gold (Dotrix 4000, J. Stalin & Kaz Kyzah), Livewire (J. Stalin, Lil Blood, The Mekanix, Philthy Rich & Stevie Joe) & Livewire Da Gang (J. Stalin & Jay Jonah).

Early life

Shady Nate was born on October 17,1981 and raised in the Acorn housing projects of West Oakland, where violence, robberies, and drug dealing continuously occurred around him, and he would begin to write these incidents down in a journal. They became poems which Shady Nate would later rap in his songs. His influences include The Luniz, Too Short & 3X Crazy. After spending lots of time in the recording studio making songs, it never made him enough money, so he once again turned to the criminal life he had as a kid. Afterwards, in 2004, he began his career again, but he violated the terms of his parole, so he spent a year in jail. He appears on albums such as Yukmouth's Free at Last.[3]
