Shabir Isoufi (born 9 March 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Telstar in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. In 2011, Shabir was the highest paid athlete from Afghanistan at annual salary of $80,000 (USD).[1]
Career
Born in Kandahar, Afghanistan, Isoufi has played club football in the Netherlands for Feyenoord, Excelsior, Dordrecht and Telstar.[2]
He made three appearances for the Netherlands at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[3]
