Shënkoll (Albanian for St. Nicolas) is a municipality in the Lezhë District, Lezhë County, northwestern Albania.[1]
Shenkoll is a rapidly developing village situated 10 km south of the town of Lezhe, near the mouth of the river Mat. Its population is increasing drastically since the fall of communism, in 2007 Lezhë District for Shenkoll population had count 13,523 people .Shenkoll has a favorable position which is complemented with the new infrastructure, making it a perfect place to build a business and is very friendly and welcoming with newcomers.[citation needed]
