Club career
Ajax Cape Town
Seydouba Soumah made his professional debut for Ajax Cape Town on 22 January 2011 in a 3–0 win against Platinum Stars at Moruleng Stadium in Moruleng, North West Province. Seydouba, now into his fourth year at Ajax, was acquired by Ajax Cape Town after being spotted and recruited to the mother city club as a 15-year-old kid from the streets of the West African country. The Guinean teenager was promoted from the youth ranks to perform with the clubs first team at the start of the 2010–11 season, making his PSL debut after two loan spells in the National First Division at iKapa Sporting and F.C. Cape Town.[3] Following his loan spells, Seydouba Soumah made his debut for Ajax Cape Town during the 2010–11 season, appearing in ten matches and scoring once to help the Urban Warriors secure a second place finish in the league table that season.[4][5] Following his debut with Ajax, Seydouba Soumah was transferred to the University of Pretoria, playing in the National First Division once more.[6]
FC Nitra
In February 2012, he joined Slovak club FC Nitra.[7][8]

On 3 December 2012, Slovak club ŠK Slovan Bratislava announced that the club had signed Soumah to a four and half-year contract.[9] The transfer fee was €0.15 million. He made his debut for ŠK Slovan Bratislava on 16 March 2013 against FK Dukla Banská Bystrica, entering in as a substitute in place of Erik Grendel.
