Serrata is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 60 km southwest of Catanzaro and about 60 km northeast of Reggio Calabria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 922 and an area of 21.8 km².[1]
Serrata borders the following municipalities: Candidoni, Dinami, Laureana di Borrello, Mileto, San Pietro di Caridà.
