Sergio William Leal (born 25 September 1982 in Rivera, Uruguay) is a football forward who plays for Danubio.[1]
Club career
Leal started his career with Uruguayan Peñarol in 2001. He then had a short spell on loan to Plaza Colonia in 2003, before returning to Peñarol.
In 2005 Leal joined Sporting Cristal of Peru where he was part of the Primera División Peruana winning squad in 2005. In 2006 he joined Universidad San Martín de Porres and in 2007 he moved to Argentina to play for Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata in the Primera Division de Argentina. He finally returned to his country (Uruguay) and signed with Danubio.
In the summer of 2009 he moved to Greece and signed a contract with the Cretan club Ergotelis F.C..
In 2012, he was moved to Deportivo Cali, a Colombian team who play in Colombia´s first division.
