Sergio Gori

Sergio Gori (born February 24, 1946) is an Italian former football player, playing as striker.

Born in Milan, Gori debuted with Internazionale, with 10 caps between 1964 and 1966. Then he was sent to Lanerossi Vicenza in exchange for Luis Vinicio. Returned to Inter, he was sold to Cagliari Calcio (together with Angelo Domenghini) in exchange for Roberto Boninsegna.

In 1970 he was a titular in the Cagliari formation that won the first and sole scudetto (Italian title), forming an experimented attacking duo with Gigi Riva. In the same year he took part to the 1970 World Cup with his national team.[1]

In 1975 Gori moved to Juventus, where he won his fourth scudetto. He ended his Serie A career with Hellas Verona F.C..
