Sergei Makarenko (born September 11, 1937 in Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian SSR) is a Soviet-born Ukrainian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He won the C-2 1000 m gold medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.
Makarenko also won a gold medal in the C-2 10000 m event at the 1963 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Jajce.
