Serena Gordon (born 3 September 1963) is an English actress. She is probably best known for playing the role of Superintendent Amanda Prosser in the long running ITV drama The Bill.
Born in London, she is the daughter of property consultant Ian Strathearn Gordon, and magistrate Nicola Mary Gordon. She studied at RADA in the same year as Jane Horrocks, where the two became best friends. After college they shared a flat in Bayswater. They shared their joint 30th birthday party at the Groucho Club.[1]
Gordon had a small role in the James Bond film GoldenEye as an MI6 psychologist evaluator, Caroline.
Gordon separated from her husband, Tim Laurence in 2011. Together they still run the Hoffman Institute. They have two sons.
