Serafima Andreyevna Sakhanovich (Russian: Серафима Андреевна Саханович; born 9 February 2000) is a Russian figure skater. She is the 2013 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist and 2014 Russian junior national champion.
Career
Sakhanovich began skating under the encouragement of her grandmother. She is coached by Alina Pisarenko in Saint Petersburg.
Sakhanovich finished 12th at the 2012 Russian Junior Championships. She was 4th in her first senior nationals at the 2013 Russian Championships and then won silver at the 2013 Russian Junior Championships behind Elena Radionova.
Sakhanovich made her international debut on the 2013–14 ISU Junior Grand Prix series. After placing 4th at the 2013 JGP Slovakia, she then won the gold medal in her next JGP event in Estonia.[1] She qualified for the JGP Final in Fukuoka, Japan and won the silver medal behind teammate Maria Sotskova. At the Russian Championships, Sakhanovich finished sixth in her second senior appearance and then won the junior title ahead of Sotskova.
