Suni is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shimla district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Geography
Suni is located at 31°14′N 77°07′E / 31.24°N 77.12°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 670 metres (2198 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Suni had a population of 1529. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Suni has an average literacy rate of 80%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 78%. In Suni, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
