Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sentul is a main town area in Kuala Lumpur. It is divided into two sections namely Sentul Barat (West Sentul) and Sentul Timur (East Sentul). The Malayan Railway train depot is located here. Many Hindu temples and churches can be seen in this town because many Indian workers have been working in the train depot since the Federated Malay States was founded by the British in 1896. Jalan Sentul and Jalan Ipoh are the two major roads servicing this area. The KTM Batu Caves-Port Klang Route Sentul Komuter station, Ampang Line Sentul Timur LRT station and Sentul LRT station are situated in this area.
