Sendarapatti, also known as Senthalai , is a panchayat town in Salem district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Demographics
In the 2009 Indian census,[1] Sentharapatti had a population of nearly 40,000. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Sentharapatti has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 48%. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
