"Sender" in German is used to mean a broadcast station:

  • Sender Donebach, powerful German longwave radio transmitter operating on 153 kHz and transmitting the program of German public broadcaster Deutschlandfunk
  • Sender Freies Berlin (abbrevuated as SFB) (English: Radio Free Berlin), ARD public radio and television service for West Berlin (1954-1990) and for unified Berlin (1990-2003)
  • Sender Zehlendorf, German short wave radio transmission facility
