Semiarundinaria is a genus of flowering plants in the grass family Poaceae, native to temperate and subtropical woodland in China and Japan. Containing up to 20 species, they are generally rhizomatous, tall and erect bamboos with cylindrical stems, producing tufts of lanceolate leaves at each node.[1]
