Sebastiano Paulessi, better known by his stage name, Sebalter (stylised SEBalter) is a Swiss singer that will represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark he will perform the song "Hunter of Stars" in the second semi-final on May 8, 2014.[2] Sebalter was born in Ticino.

Music career

2002–2012: Early career

From 2002 to 2012, Sebalter played the fiddle in a Swiss folk rock band The Vad Vuc. He left the band in 2012 to pursue a solo career.[3]

2013–present: Eurovision Song Contest 2014

In December 2013 Sebalter released his debut single "Hunter of Stars". On February 1, 2014, he was chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song "Hunter of Stars", he will perform the song in the second semi-final on May 8, 2014.
