Scrub Creek, Texas

Schrub Creek is a farming town in Trinity County, Texas. It is located on FM 358 10 miles from Groveton. It was established during the Civil War. A school was established there in 1877. The school later consolidated to Centerville. By the 1990s, only a church and a few houses remained.
