Scott Andrew Hogan (born 13 April 1992) is an English footballer who plays for Rochdale as a forward or winger.

Career

Born in Salford, Hogan began his career as a student at Salford College, playing in their Football Academy first team, before moving onto Rochdale's youth academy, and was promoted to first team in 2010, but was released without making a first-team appearance May 2011.[2]

Following his release from Rochdale, he joined Stockport Sports, but after only a month at the club, Hogan signed with F.C. Halifax Town in August 2011,[3] and made his senior debut on the 28 August, against Boston United. He left Halifax in December, and signed with Stocksbridge. A year later, Hogan had a trial at Barnsley.[4] In October 2012, he joined Ashton United.

On 9 March 2013, Hogan signed a non-contract deal with Hyde.[5] He made his Hyde debut three days later, against Luton Town, and scored his first goal on 16 March, against Dartford. Hogan finished the season with 11 appearances, scoring three times. He was also linked to a move to Birmingham City,[6] but nothing came of it.

On 9 May, Hogan returned to Rochdale, signing a two-year deal.[7] He made his debut on 3 August, scoring the first of a 3–0 home win against Hartlepool United.[8]
