From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Scott Dibble is a Canadian singer-songwriter, musician and record producer.
He was the leader of the band Scott Dibble and Watertown in the early 1990s. Although his band frequently served as an opening act for his friends in Barenaked Ladies, the band never made it big, scoring only one Canadian radio hit, "If We Turn Out the Lights".
Dibble also produced material for Barenaked Ladies and Big Sugar. He co-wrote the song 'New Kid On The Block' which appeared on Barenaked Ladies' 'Gordon' album in 1992.
He subsequently joined Hemingway Corner, appearing on that band's 1995 album Under the Big Sky.
