- Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber (1808–1861), German physician and inventor of the eponymous Schrebergärten (allotment gardens). He was the father of Daniel Paul Schreber.
- Daniel Paul Schreber (1842–1911), a German judge who suffered from schizophrenia.
