School Gyrls (film)

School Gyrls is a 2010 made-for-TV musical film starring the pop band School Gyrls (Mandy Moseley, Monica Anne Parales, Jacque Pyles) and Lindsay Taylor. The film premiered on Nickelodeon on February 21, 2010, and later aired on TeenNick on March 19, 2010. The film was poorly received by critics and was the only promotion for the album of the same name by the stars of the film. The film was written, produced and directed by Nick Cannon, marking his film directorial debut.

Plot

The film revolves around new students Mandy Rain (Mandy Rain), Mo' Money (Monica Parales), Jacque Nimble (Jacquelyn Pyles) who have just started attending their new private all girl school. The girls go through many troubles including being put in detention several times, sneaking out of the school, and also having fights with the most popular girl in the school, Bambi Lockwood (Lindsay Taylor). One incident, in which Bambi films herself bullying Monica, and then puts it on the internet, results in the three girls ending up in detention when they get back at Bambi by making calendars in which they doctor up Bambi's photos.
