Scholar Green is a village in the civil parish of Odd Rode in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England.

Encompassing the smaller settlement of Kent Green and The Bank Scholar Green is near Mow Cop, Alsager, Rode Heath, Butt Lane and Kidsgrove, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East.

The Macclesfield Canal runs through Scholar Green, and the Trent and Mersey Canal is nearby. The village has three pubs, "The Rising Sun" (located on the Macclesfield Canal), "The Bleeding Wolf" and "The Traveller's Rest". It also has amenities such as a primary school, post office, shop, a hair dressers, a barbers and a take away. There are two churches; All Saints at Odd Rode, and The Bank Methodist Church. Situated very close to the first ever Primitive Methodist Sermon on Mow Cop.

Odd Rode All Saints is one of the three churches that make up the Parish of Odd Rode.

Rode Hall, situated on Church Lane and opposite All Saints, is a major tourist attraction in the village, serviced by several local farms and vendors. The 1st Saturday morning of every month it is host to a farmers market for local produce, bringing in merchants from the Local Towns, such as Alsager and Kidsgrove[1]

The current owner of Rode Hall is Sir Richard Baker-Wilbraham [2]

Little Moreton Hall is also within the village limits.

The Village is completely bisected by the A34 road towards Newcastle-under-Lyme and Congleton, ending just before Little Moreton Hall at the northernmost end, and bisected at the junction of the A34 and the A50, between Kidsgrove and Alsager at the southernmost end, bordering Church Lawton.

The village has a number of public walks, including the Mow Cop gritstone trail, the Trent and Mersey Canal, and other such local walks as "Sludge's Wood" (a former mining site and narrow gauge railway), and many other public footpaths.
