Schistura is a genus of stone loaches from southern and eastern Asia. All members of Schistura live in stream and river habitats; some inhabit caves (troglobites).[1]

The current composition of this genus is not completely settled. The following list follows Kottelat (2012) with the addition of species described since his paper.
