The Scaly-naped Parrot (Amazona mercenarius) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
