Savitha Reddy
Savitha Reddy' is a dubbing artist in the southern India film industry. She has provided dubbing for heroines in the Tamil and Telugu industries. She made her debut with Jeans lending her voice to Aishwarya Rai's character.She also dubbed in Mollywood for Tamil characters played by lead heroines which include Lakshmi Rai for Annan Thambi & Gauthami Nair for Diamond Necklace.
Savitha Reddy is M.B.A. graduate who majored in advertising from Annamalai University, first received attention when Shankar selected her to dub for Aishwarya Rai in Jeans. In Telugu, her first work was for Simran in Kalisundam Raa and later she went on to dub for her in all most all the films. She has dubbed for Aarthi Agarwal from her debut film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, "I got the Nandi award for this film," recalls Savitha. She lent voice for Trisha's first Telugu film, Varsham, Richa's in Nuvve Kavali, and for Asin in Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, she has dubbed mostly for Simran, Jyothika and Trisha. Her major works are Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Priyamanavale, Panchathantiram, Kushi, Dhool, Chandramukhi,and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.
She dubbed for Jyothika Saravanan in the Telugu version of blockbuster movie Chandramukhi and for Simran & Jyothika Saravanan in 12B. She had also dubbed for actress Nina's character in Chitti serial. Actress Sneha in her interview to Tamil magazine Kungumam Thozhi has said Savitha is among the women who she admires.
