Saudi Telecom Group, (STC; STC Group; STC International) (Arabic: مجموعة الاتصالات السعودية) is a Saudi Arabia-based telecommunications company that offers landline, mobile and internet services.
Background
The Saudi Telecommunication Group provides integrated mobile, fixed and broadband communications services to over 160 million customers globally. Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) is the largest telecommunications company by market capitalization, total revenue and number of employees in the Arab State region. In the last few years, STC has gone beyond its local borders to the international markets, forming a network of businesses and investments in a number of GCC countries, Asia and Africa. The company is now present in Kuwait, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, South Africa and Bahrain which has enabled STC to serve a larger number of customers internationally.
On 6 June 2012, Khaled Al Ghonaim was announced as the new CEO of STC Group, taking over from Saud bin Majed Al Daweesh. He quit STC within 10 months.[2]
On March 2010, a national movement against the company was launched with "Say No To STC " sloagan, the aim was to force the poor service to improve and to boycott the high-price poor-service supplier of such services.

STC services are divided into three broad categories: Jawal (mobile network), Home (landline network), and Enterprise Enterprise services.
