Satish Chakravarthy is an Indian music composer, who mainly produces film scores and soundtracks in the Tamil film industry. He rose to fame with critically acclaimed music in the films, Leelai and Kanimozhi.[1]

Career

Satish Chakravarthy is an engineer by education, having graduated from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli but subsequently went on to Berklee College of Music, Massachusetts. He has worked under A. R. Rahman since 2006 in a dozen films as a musician, before making his debut as a music composer in Leelai.

He was approached by T. Siva, a close family friend, to work in Kanimozhi as the producer had liked his work in Leelai and felt he had the potential. Notably, Siva's first production had music scored by Satish's father.[2]
