Sathupally is one of the major towns and Mandal headquarters in Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is so named because it is the combination of seven (saath) villages. It is also a constituency of the Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh.
The town is 95 kilometres (59 mi) from Vijayawada, 279 kilometres (173 mi) from Hyderabad and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from Khammam and Eluru. It consists singareni coal mines and it also consists vast forest area
The former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jalagam Vengala Rao, was elected from the constituency, which in 2004 had the second highest electoral turnout percentage in India. is place. The special police 16th battalion is situated at Gangaram village, near to Sathupally town.This is the major municipality and commercial centre in Khammam district.The busyness in the town is over 4 kilometers across the main road. This is one of the fastest-growing towns in Khammam district as this town is very reachable to more than 100 villages in the districts of Khammam, West Godavari and Krishna. And this town is fully andhra cultured town.
This place is famous for eucalyptus clones which are abundant here.
And, Thammileru starts at Sathupalli only. There are multiple Temples constructed recently. And, near by you have historical Temple named NEELADRI and known as constructed by Kakteeyas. Another famous Temple is Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Annapureddy Palli which is approximately 20 Kilometres from the Town. There are regular bus services by APSRTC to reach this Temple on all days.

There are couple of famous pilgrim places around Sattupalli. Famous Dwaraka Tirumala (aka Chinna Tirupathi) is 80 km away. Maddi Anjeneya swamy temple is another must visit place which is 4 km from Jangareddy Gudem. Both of these places fall in to West Godavari District around 2–3 Hours drive from Sattupalli.
