Sariakandi (Bengali: সারিয়াকান্দি) is an Upazila of Bogra District in the division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
Geography
Sariakandi is located at 24°53′00″N 89°34′00″E / 24.8833°N 89.5667°E . It has 46406 units of house hold and a total area of 432.55 km² (approximately).
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Sariakandi has a population of 229563. Males constitute 50.93% of the population, and females 49.07%. This upazila's eighteen up population is 113673. Sariakandi has an average literacy rate of 22.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
