Sarenga is a census town under Sankrail police station in Sadar subdivision of Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]

Sarenga is located at 22°32′N 88°13′E / 22.54°N 88.21°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 6 m (20 ft).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[3] Sarenga had a population of 21,621. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Sarenga has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 54%. In Sarenga, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
