Sardis, Arkansas
Sardis is an unincorporated community in Saline County, Arkansas, United States. It is part of the 'Little Rock-North Little Rock-AR Metropolitan Statistical Area'. It is located near Bauxite and East End.
Sardis has a country store, a United Methodist Church, fire department, and more. It is a rural area. It has quite a bit of land but most of it is trees. It is a good area for farming too.
Sardis is part of the Bryant Public School District.
The shoe tree
Remains a mystery to locals and travelers, although thought once to be a meeting place of kids. Located at the Crossing of Hogue Rd. and North Sardis Rd. Locals are trying to get Owners of the tree to Cut it down as it blocks the view of N. Sardis Rd. and accidents have occurred because of the tree being there so they are trying to "Shoe" It away.
