Saonara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 25 km southwest of Venice and about 11 km southeast of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,399 and an area of 13.5 km².[1]
Saonara borders the following municipalities: Legnaro, Padua, Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco, Vigonovo.
