In Roman Catholicism
- In Spanish culture, a collector, or an artisan who creates Santos y Revultos and other Spanish-style religious artwork.
In SanterĂa
- A man who has undergone the Initiation known as "Kariocha" in the SanterĂa religion, also known as "making the Saint" (Spanish: Hacer Santo) where his tutelary deity is crowned over his head. A santero is an initiated priest of the orisha that was crowned over his head.
