Sankofa is an Oogenus of Prismatoolithid egg. It contains only a single oospecies, S. pyrenaica. The eggs are fairly small, smooth-shelled, and asymmetrical. Sankofa may represent the eggs of a transitional species between nonavian theropods and birds.[1]
