Sanjay Singh is a social activist[1] and Aam Aadmi Party core committee member. He was in the leadership of Anti Corruption Movement in India.

Personal life

Sanjay singh was born in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He did Diploma in Mining Engineering from Orissa School of Mining Engineering in 1990.

Political career

He is Founder and President of a social organization "Azad Samaj Seva Samiti", (regd., 1998). The organization runs "Shahid Chandrasekhar Azad Balika Vidyalaya" at Hasanpur village in Sultanpur, U.P. on very affordable fee and free education for qualified poor children. He was heavily involved into clean Gomati River by Shramdan (Labor-gift) and participated in protest against corruption involved in Clean Gomati River project by U.P. Govt. .[2] He got associated with Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (Democratic Socialist Party), and worked closely with party president Raghu Thakur for around 10 years in Sultanpur, Lucknow, and New Delhi area.

Activities in Anti Corruption Movement

Sanjay Singh is an active member in Anti Corruption Movement in India,[3] and also public speaker of the movement.[4][5] Sanjay Singh [6] at the Anna Hazare fast venue, said government can do anything but people will come out and join the Anna Hazare movement.[7]
