Sangvi Surya (Marathi: सांगवी सूर्य), is a village in Parner taluka in Ahmednagar district of state of Maharashtra, India. The Village Sangvi Surya is 10 km away from the famous village Nighoj, wherein Goddess Malagasy Temple is famous for their worship. The population of sangvi surya is near about 3000 to 3500. Near about 30% of total population people are living in the city Mumbai. so many peoples are highly educated and working as a government servants, own businesses, in private sectors.

Most of Population stayed in the City like Pune & Mumbai. Once in year all the people come together for the Festival called Jatra of Shah Sinkdar Baba in the month of December. For this festival people travel from cities such as Pune and Mumbai. This Festival is organized in big manner so that large crowds come together.

This Festival of three Days & this 3 Days Various Programs also arranged on First day there is Worship of GOD and for that on Nights all people come together in worship.
