Sandy Gennaro is an American professional rock and roll drummer.

Gennaro grew up in Staten Island, New York. He has played with Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett, Michael Bolton, Robin Gibb and The Monkees. Sandy was a member of the Pat Travers Band and more recently has toured with Bo Diddley. He currently also teaches drums in New York City.

His drumming style can best be described as pop/rock and he is legendary for his extremely accurate timing, along with really loud playing.

Since 2007, Sandy has been a frequent and favorite counselor at David Fishof's Rock and Roll Fantasy Camps. In November 2010, he rejoined the Pat Travers Band.[1]

Sandy is on the Advisory Board for Wildhorse Ranch Rescue, a registered 501c3 charity that saves equines from abuse, neglect, abandonment and slaughter. He joined the charity in 2004 to honor his and his good friend, Davy Jones', love of horses.
