Sandnes Sentrum Station (Norwegian: Sandnes sentrum stasjon) is a railway station located in downtown Sandnes in Rogaland, Norway. The station is served by regional trains to Kristiansand and the Jæren Commuter Rail. The station is 14.78 kilometres (9.18 mi) south of Stavanger Station.
History
The original station for Sandnes, Sandnes Station, was opened with the Jæren Line in 1878. Since a new station in the center of Sandnes was built, and the old station converted to a stop for only regional trains.
