Sandling is a small hamlet north of Saltwood in Kent. It has a railway station (formerly a junction) connected to Saltwood village by a bus service. It is also the location of Sandling Park, a large estate and house, which stretches around the village of Saltwood and ends at Saltwood's other satellite hamlet, Pedlinge. The gardens of the Park are often open during the summer months.
Sandling has been a quiet hamlet, but in the later part of the 20th century it has been changed by modern developments - the M20 motorway and High Speed 1 have both been constructed directly through the centre of this tiny settlement.
