Sanders is located at 39°04′47″N 86°30′48″W / 39.07972°N 86.51333°W.
History
Sanders was once called Limestone. A Bloomington, Indiana newspaper called The Bloomington Telephone, date illegible, but dated between March 3 and March 13, 1903, printed the following notice: "A bill has passed the Senate and will likely become a law changing the name of 'Limestone,' in the south part of this county, to 'Sanders.' A law is necessary to correct irregularities in titles of land in the town plats."
